The Moo win their 33rd game of the season and clinch their spot in the Nebraskaland divisional playoffs with a 5-2 win over the Hastings Sodbusters.

Fremont, NE- The Moo win their 33rd game of the season with a 5-2 win over the Hastings Sodbusters. The Moo are now 17-7 in the 2nd half, 3 games up in 1st(33-20 overall). The Sodbusters end their season 6-18 in the 2nd half(20-31 overall).
Fremont would open up the scoring in the 2nd inning when Kanin Dodge scored Tyler Harrington on a sac-fly to take the 1-0 lead. Two runs in the 5th would come on an Ian Graf single that scored Austin Baskin, then a Zech Samayoa single scored Ben Higdon. Two more would follow in the 9th to seal the win on a Graf double that scored Baskin and a Samayoa single scored Higdon. Hastings would get their only two runs of the game in the 3rd on a two-RBI single.
Luke Hamzeh was the winning pitcher for the Moo going 6 innings, allowing two runs on six hits, and striking out 5. Jake Schroeder was the losing pitcher for the Sodbusters going 4.1 innings, allowing three runs(two earned) on three hits, and striking out five.
The Moo will play their final game of the regular season tomorrow at 7:05 PM CST at Hastings. They have also clinched their spot in the Nebraskaland divisional playoffs against the Western Nebraska Pioneers starting on Sunday at Historic Moller Field at 5:05 PM CST.
