The Moo lose their 20th game of the season in a 5-4 loss to the Western Nebraska Pioneers.

Fremont, NE- The Moo lose their 20th game of the season in a 5-4 loss to the Western Nebraska Pioneers. The Moo now move to 16-7 in the 2nd half, two games up in 1st(32-20 overall). The Pioneers now move to 14-9 in the 2nd half(31-19 overall).
The Moo would open up the scoring in the 2nd when Tyler Harrington scored on a Ben Higdon groundout. A two-run blast by Zech Samayoa in the 5th and a Bentley Boekhout sac-fly scoring Higdon in the 6th would be the only four runs for Fremont. Western Nebraska would take the lead for good with four runs in the 8th to make it 5-4 with the Moo unable to tie the game back up in the top of the 9th.
Robbie Whelan would be charged with the loss for the Moo going 0.1 innings, allowing three runs(two earned) and walking two. Brian Bruxvoort would get the win for the Pioneers going 2.1 innings, only allowing two hits and no runs. The Moo will travel to Hastings tomorrow to take on the Sodbusters at 6:35 PM CST. Then, a split doubleheader will take place on Saturday with the noon game in Fremont and then a 6:35 PM game later that night in Hastings.
