The Moo get their 13th win of the season and 4th against the Gem City Bison in a 14-3 offensive outburst of a game.

Fremont, NE- The Moo take their 13th win of the season and 4th against the Gem City Bison 14-3. The Moo now move to 13-11 on the season still 2 games back of 1st in 4th place while Gem City now moves to 8-19 9.5 games back of 1st in 5th.
The Moo got the scoring started in the bottom of the 3rd with 2 runs started by a wild pitch that scored Ben Higdon then a sac-fly by Derian Morphew in the same at-bat scored Trey Nichols. An RBI double in the 4th for GC cut the lead in half to 2-1 but that would be the closest it would be all game as Fremont would score 3 in the 5th to make it 5-1. That was started by a 2-RBI single by Bentley Boekhout that scored Nichols and Morphew then a single by Jason Axelberg scored Kanin Dodge.
The Moo would break the game wide open in the 7th scoring 8 runs started by an Axelberg single and error on the Bison scored Dodge in the same play, then a double by Matt Spear scored Boekhout and Axelberg. A 2-run shot by Ben Higdon scored himself and Spear, then a double by Morphew and error on the same play scored Tyler Harrington, then a single by Dodge and a triple by Boekhout scored Morphew and then Dodge respectively. GC would score their final 2 runs in the 8th off a bases-loaded HBP and an RBI single to make it 14-3 but that's it would be scoring-wise for the ballgame.
Boekhout went 3-5 with 3 RBIs, Axelberg 2-5 with 2 RBIs, Spear went 2-3 with 2 RBIs and Higdon went 1-2 including his 1st HR of the season on his 2-run HR in the 7th. Brody Sintek was credited with the win for the Moo going 7 innings allowing 3 runs on 6 hits striking out 4 while Jamison Eickhacker was charged with the loss for the Bison going 5 innings allowing 5 runs on 5 hits striking out 7 in the process. The Moo will continue their 3-game series against GC tomorrow at 7:05 PM before finishing it out on Sunday at 5:05 PM.
