The Moo lose their 13th game of the season and 4th against the Gem City Bison 6-4

The Moo take their 12th loss of the season and 4th against the Gem City Bison 6-4. They now move to 13-12 on the season two and a half games back of 1st place while the Bison now move to 9-19 on the season 8 and a half games back of 1st.
As usual, Fremont got the scoring started in the bottom of the 4th with two runs first off a Zech Samayoa double that scored Austin Baskin from 2nd, then a groundout by Hayden Lewis scored Nico Azpilcueta. GC would come back in the 5th with one run off a solo HR but the Moo would match it in the next half-inning with a solo HR of their own by Baskin.
GC would take the lead for good in the 6th with four runs started by a single and an error on the same play that scored three. Then, another error on a sac-fly in foul territory down the right-field line scored another runner to make it 5-3. The Bison would add another run in the 7th on a sac-fly before Fremont answered with one of their own in the 9th. That run for Fremont was on a balk that was called on Bison pitcher scoring Azpilcueta from 3rd to give the final score of 6-4.
Luke Hamzeh was charged with the loss for the Moo going five and a third innings with five runs(four earned) on six hits and ten strikeouts while Ty Vollmar was credited with the win for GC going three and a third innings giving up one run on two hits and striking out two in the process. The Moo and Bison will play in the rubber match of the series tonight at 5:05 PM CST at Historic Moller Field in Fremont.
