The Moo take their 5th loss of the season in the final game of the series against the Badlands Big Sticks 9-5.

Fremont, NE- The Moo take their 5th loss of the season in the final game of the series against the Badlands Bad Sticks 9-5. The Moo move to 8-5 on the season still in 2nd place in the Nebraskaland Division while the Bad Sticks move to 10-5 still in 1st place in the Great Plains Division.
The Moo once again got the scoring started in the bottom of the 1st first by a 2-RBI double by INF Austin Baskin that scored Zane Skansi and Ian Graf then an RBI single by Tyler Harrington scored Baskin to make it 3-0. Badlands would come back in the top 3rd with 2 runs to make it 3-2 off 2 wild pitches by Moo SP Nick Balch. They would take the lead for good in the top of the 5th with 2 more runs off an RBI groundout and an RBI single to make it 4-3.
The Big Sticks would score 5 more in the top of the 7th first by an RBI single, then a wild pitch and RBI single in the same at-bat scored 2, then another 2-RBI single would be the final runs of the game for Badlands. Fremont would come back with 2 runs in bottom of the 7th off a bases-loaded HBP of Zane Skansi that scored Ben Higdon, then a Sac-Fly by Derian Morphew scored Bobby Brown to make it 9-5 but that's all that would be scoring-wise for both teams as the Moo weren't able to secure their 2nd straight series sweep at home but still able to get the 2nd straight home series win.
RHP Sam Marhefke took the win for Badlands going 6 1/3 innings giving up 5 runs on 4 hits and striking out 10. RHP Balch took the loss for the Moo going 5 innings allowing 4 runs on 4 hits and striking out 7 in the process.
