Jacob Cochenet reached on an error, and Mitchell advanced to third on the same throwing error to put runners on the corners. Eamon O'Gorman singled to right field to score Mitchell as the Moo got on the board first, taking a 1-0 lead. The Salina Sliders responded in the bottom of the second with six runs, including a three-run homer, to take a 6-1 lead. Giovanni Malatesta was hit by a pitch to open the third, and Cooper Fuchino reached on a fielder's choice. Easton Leahy brought Fuchino home with a single to right field to make it 6-2.
