A back-and-forth affair saw the Oahe Zap come out on top of the Moo with a 12-11 victory in 10 innings. The Moo out hit the Zap in the contest but a three run 10th for Oahe helped secure the victory.

The Moo are 7-5 this season against the Nebraska Prospects this season. In the most recent contest on Monday, July 21st, the Prospects shutdown the Moo bats, holding them to 2 runs on six hits. The Prospects are 9-22 this season and will wrap up the season against the Moo tonight and tomorrow.

The final homestand of the regular season continues tonight at Moller Field. The Moo will play tomorrow which will conclude the 2025 ILB season on Sunday against the Prospects.
The Second Half Explained
The Spearfish Sasquatch punched their ticket to the 2025 ILB Championship Series by clinching the first-half pennant. The second half began on June 28th. This means that the records effectively return to 0-0. The winner of the second half will face the Sasquatch in the ILBCS. If the Sasquatch wins the second half, then the team with the second-best overall record will clinch the second spot in the championship series.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — The Fremont Moo had a quick turnaround after playing in Sedalia on Friday night, traveling to Grand Island to face the Fightin' Cranes on Saturday. The Moo battled back from an early deficit, but their comeback effort fell short in a 13-12 loss. Ripken Fleck started the game with a leadoff double, while Giovanni Malatesta and Easton Leahy were both hit by pitches to load the bases. Jacob Coshenet drew a walk to bring home Fleck and give the Moo a 1-0 lead. Tyler Schroeder followed with a single to right field, scoring Malatesta to make it 2-0 at the end of the first inning.
